Aljmaš

Aljmaš place at the confluence of the Drava and the Danube River, ten miles east of Osijek. Many have said that this is an oasis of peace, where the Drava joins the Danube, where the Drava loves sky. It is a place of religious, spiritual pilgrimages - Lady Aljmaškoj. Thousands of believers came to the parish church of St. Visitation of Mary, from the mid-19th century to pray Holy Mary figure. Church, built by Anthony Adamovich (1808th-1848th), is no more.
