Cres

The largest town on the island located in the northern part of the island, protected by a large and deep bay. The best way to experience the town is to take a walk through numerous narrow streets, discover ornaments on medieval buildings, see the reflection of the facades between wooden boats, pass along the waterfront bathed in the sun and decorated with caffe bars with terraces. The town Cres is called with good reason "Island or Little Venice". This typical mediterranean town has it's own speciffic couisine and specialties that are, thanks to their mediterranean influence, based on fish, shellfish and crabs as well as island mutton, pasta, mediterranean vegetables and fruit, spice herbs, olives and olive oil.
